About Terry D. Etherton
Dr. Etherton is a Distinguished Professor of Animal Nutrition and Head of the Department of Dairy and Animal Science at Penn State University. He is internationally recognized for his research in the area of endocrine regulation of animal growth and nutrient metabolism.
He is one of the foremost experts in the world on the biology of porcine and bovine somatotropin action in pigs and dairy cattle. In addition, Dr. Etherton is a leading authority on the importance of agricultural biotechnology in the food production system, and the need for and importance of biotechnology products for agriculture.
He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific journal articles and presented more than 160 invited seminars.
